Dubai has recently pledged to support Africa with the trade as the non-oil trade between the countries is increasing continuously. The chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce has made the announcement explaining the capacity to advance the trade. His Excellency Majid Saif Al Ghurair told in the Global Business Forum Africa in Dubai, which aims to boost trade between countries.

The non-oil trade between the two regions has crossed USD 252 billion from 2011 to 2018 with expected further growth. Speaking at the forum, the Dubai Chamber had also commented on the long-lasting relationships between the countries. Africa seeks foreign markets, and Dubai pursues economic diversification that makes two regions a perfect match for healthy business growth.

Dubai is Africa’s gateway market for making a strong presence in the world economy, and with its changing landscape, there are plenty for investment opportunities in Africa. Al Ghurair told the forum that Africa is the key focus for Dubai Chamber’s strategic expansion and, they are monitoring business and investment climate in Africa for fruitful opportunities.

The young populations both as drivers and consumers in Africa are vast, which is one the reason for the fast economic growth of the region. Dubai’s investment in Africa soaring since the last decade, and it seems there is no stoppage in future investment.
