Assent Steel Industries, one of the UAE’s leading structural steel fabricators and suppliers, has announced a major expansion of its operations at Dubai Industrial City. The company plans to invest an additional AED 120 million, bringing its total investment in the district to AED 406 million and further strengthening its advanced manufacturing capabilities for global markets.

The expansion will add approximately 2.2 million sq. ft. of new development, increasing the company’s total footprint in Dubai Industrial City to around 5.1 million sq. ft.. The project reflects the growing attractiveness of Dubai Industrial City as a hub for regional and international manufacturers, supported by its integrated infrastructure, logistics network, and strategic connectivity to global trade routes.

With the expansion, Assent Steel Industries wsill increase its production capacity from approximately 100,000 tonnes to 130,000 tonnes per year, enabling it to meet rising demand from large-scale infrastructure and energy projects worldwide. The facility will incorporate advanced fabrication technologies, including computer-controlled laser cutting systems, automated welding solutions, enhanced material handling infrastructure, and integrated digital workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.

The company currently employs more than 3,000 personnel and expects the expansion to create additional opportunities across engineering, fabrication, and technical functions. Assent Steel Industries exports to key international markets including North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Africa, Canada, and Kazakhstan, and the new investment is expected to further strengthen its global reach while supporting sustainable manufacturing through internationally recognized quality and environmental standards.
